Dear Customers and Partners,

We at Premier Specialties are, and have been actively monitoring the situation with COVID-19 (Novel Coronavirus) closely and taking the necessary precautions to prepare for all situations.

Several important mitigation efforts and mandates continue to be put in place in the interest of stopping or containing the spread of COVID-19 such as sheltering-in-place, curfews, etc.…  These laws do include exceptions for ‘essential businesses’ that are involved in the manufacture and distribution of disinfecting products, personal care products, and other goods or services necessary for maintaining the safety and sanitation of operations.

Premier Specialties does supply fragrances to these types of manufacturers, and as such, our Middlesex, NJ operations constitute an “Essential Business” as defined by the state of New Jersey Executive Order #107. This determination is consistent with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS)’s classification of the Chemical Sector as a Critical Infrastructure Sector, as fragrance is a specialty chemical.

This classification means that our employees are permitted to leave their homes to work at our manufacturing plant to support our operations. All nonessential personnel are transitioning to remotely work from home.

Premier’s top priority, is to keep our employees, wherever they may be located, healthy and ensuring that they are taking all necessary precautions to remain healthy. Preventative procedures have been put in place by Premier, aligning our internal policy with regulations and guidelines outlined by WHO, CDC and USGOV. Premier’s COVID-19 Management Plan is in place to guarantee that operations will remain up and running if we are presented with either a staffing or a site challenge.

The current situation is affecting all companies globally in many similar and different ways. In this time of uncertainty, it is important for us all to be mindful of the health of our loved ones and not take this for granted. Be safe and stay healthy, and we will continue to update you.

Best Regards,

Lisa Bouldin
